Winter Springs Taxable Property Values Increases Not Considered !
(In-complete -- not even half of projects are known.)
The increases in property values as reported by the County are actually incorrect. These, however, are the figures provided to them of residential/commercial properties listed for taxable value, but in no way include the thousands of lower cost housing/condos/apartments now under development, or in the plans for future projects. That's the reason for the 21% per cent crime increase in the City.
The City Manager, his staff, commissioners, and mayor are all aware of those projects still not published to the public. That also holds true for their aggressive annexation projects.
Example: How many people know of the high rise motel to be put up at the junction of SR417 and Sr434? The city officials know ---- ask them ! Then there is the high rise office building at Vistawilla and SR434. That ought to make those expensive property owners behind them (two buildings to be built) very happy. They can look out at people looking down upon them from the upper floors.
