Winter Springs/Oviedo water

they will probably print another tax paid propaganda "rag" to inform the people of their views only. That's a typical city move !

Special Insert -- City of Oviedo to meet with the City of Winter Springs on 11/01/05. One should really see the agenda --- obviously dictated by the City of Winter Springs. It points to ALL the past problems created by the City of Winter Springs always opposing Oviedo's rise to development of a well proposed City with a "planned" agenda ---- ALWAYS made available to their citizens.

This is in SHARP contrast to the "behind-the-doors" manipulations of the management of the City of Winter Springs who only present unknown, and unattainable agendas to their "public" attendees at commission meetings. Just looking at the upcoming meeting agenda one can see the new approach of the City of Winter Springs of by-passing their citizens to obtain from Oviedo what they now need to continue their aggressive annexations to the East. They have more low cost housing planned for that area to support "Tiny Town".

They need Oviedo's water access to Lake Jesup. They want Oviedo to forgive them for ignoring the boundaries of "decency" drawn up years ago. Maybe they want Oviedo to forget ALL the problems Winter Springs caused with their lawsuits in the construction of the "Oviedo Marketplace", the hatred of the fact Oviedo made them place their Tuscawilla entrance where it belonged --- in Winter Springs.

City Manager Ronnie McLemore's presentation to their Chamber of Commerce bragging on how much of the taxpayers money (12 million dollars -- without taxpayers knowledge) he spent for private enterprises by buying land for "Tiny Town". It wasn't a presentation --- it was BRAGGING --- on how he got away with that con job, and how MUCH money the City was going to make on that expenditure. He didn't say -- what CENTURY ! The City is still in debt from that spending, and are after MORE money to TRY to fix it.

All should attend the latest art festival "con job" put on by Winter Springs at the Tuscawilla Country Club at 6:30 Tuesday evening ---- in case you don't know where that is --- it's in the City of Winter Springs!

The latest Winter Springs "con-job" art is coming at the expense of the Oviedo Citizens. Yes. you are reading it right. Winter Springs in their attempt to obtain more irrigation water is NOW going to approach the City of Oviedo with one of their "hidden propositions'. They need water to irrigate the properties annexed from the weak sister City of Oviedo. Those aggressive annexed properties needs water.

The City of Winter Springs desperately needs water sources to irrigate the property annexed in to the City as allowed by the week-knee government of Oviedo. Oviedo stood back while the Winter Springs "annexation-machine McLemore" grabbed off property that exceeded their boundaries while Oviedo watched from the side-lines. Oviedo allowed this to happen.

The scam was in place while attorneys, and the Seminole Court system allowed Winter Springs to pull off their annexation "rape". Much was reported by the slanted Orlando Sentinel reporting on this event. One must remember Winter Springs only allows published in the media what they feed in the "absence" of reporters covering City activities as "fodder" of actions as they unfold. Is there a "pay-off" somewhere"?

PFGG has reported a long time ago the attempt by Winter Springs to siphon off the waters of Lake Jesup for this very action, but little attention was paid by the media, and those affected. Winter Springs bought what is called the "Wincey" property under false pretenses. All the baloney about expansion of the Central Winds Park, and the "doggie" park was hidden under the cloak of "we need water".

McLemore had plans to siphon off from Lake Jesup water from a peninsula that extended out on the "Wincey" site. Ignorance overcame the fact that he would have to extend the pumping to the MIDDLE of the lake, since the Winter Springs access was mere "muck and silted" access. He was now stymied.

So now, Winter Springs wants to joined with Oviedo to siphon from the lake at Oviedo's boundaries where the depth is more suitable to drain off the waters for McLemore "concrete villages". He tried by drilling FOUR wells in the Tuscawilla community --- all except one of them were "dry" --- not to St. Johns Water Management specifications. In other words --- they were "crap". Oviedo offers the ONLY answer.

Yep -- It's the Winter Springs "Art Festival" time --- let's see if Oviedo buys it !
