A  City  That  Can't  Stay  Within  Their  Budget !

Water for Winter Springs' annexations into the Oviedo area now being spent from the current funds of the taxpayers in the City.     Talk about the desperation to increase the population in hopes it would support lagging sales in "Tiny Town" is now at an extreme burden upon the city's last remaining resources.   This doesn't even include the money spent for DRY WELLS.    Your commission will swap your money for people not even living in the City of Winter Springs.    This doesn't even consider road requirements, schools, fire & police service --  JUST

WATER !

From $240,000 to $445,000 -- almost double --- what's your next BIG GOOF City Manager McLemore ?

A couple of years ago  PFGG obtained from the State of Florida Bond Agency in Tallahassee the bond debts of six Seminole County Cities.    We did this two years in a row.   It is time that we once again request up to date bonding information from this agency to again publish the TRUE figures (unless hidden) of the bond status of the City of Winter Springs.

It is a known fact that the City Manager has been able to RE-FINANCE almost ALL of the past water and utility bonds that were on the books.   It is doubtful those totals have ever decreased due to the spending frenzies of the current city administration, and approved by the City Manager's commission.    Too much money has been spent elsewhere that would make it almost impossible to reasonably address paying down the bond debts of the city.

It is known that HUGE amounts of money have been spent extending over-sized water and sewerage lines east of the beltway to speculate on the possibility of annexation.    Meanwhile the rest of the city's water and sewerage lines crumble, while the city government begs for new residents to boost sales in "Tiny Town".    Even spending tax dollars for "private developments" has splurged.

EXAMPLE:   The purchase of raw land --- 250 acres --- way before the tremendous increase in land prices --- for $12,000,000 million dollars.    (See the McLemore -- [ Statement ] )    That doesn't even include the monies spent in bonds for properties such as Wincey, Parker, and around the town center to aid "Tiny Town".     Or how about the $33,000.00 to HALT the building of recreational areas on annexed properties --- paid to the city --- to buy SWAMPLAND in the Avery Park project to help the developer.

So there is no doubt about many factual events surrounding the Mayor, City Manager, and the elected commission, who are trying to hide from the public.     With meeting agendas CONTROLLED, and MANIPULATED by the City Manager, and the total lack of response by the commissioners who week after week get before them complaints.     They CAN'T respond --- they have NO ANSWERS !

The people must speak out --- they MUST vote in the upcoming elections !

Oust  ALL  incumbents -- return  Government  to  the  PEOPLE !
