from  our  pristine  forests  to  the  city's  cement  concourses!

originally zoned as agricultural to be rezoned by the city of winter springs to high density in the name of much needed city tax revenues !

( The page may be slow to load, but in no way will it take the Centuries it took to establish this forested area only to be destroyed with the swiftness of heavy equipment in a matter of  days. )

massive greenery to barren blackness.

vast expansions of green growth to that of interlaced roadways.

nature's water storage to pools of sludge and silt.

from trees named cypress, oak, and pine to a new plant nomenclature of the trees that are left standing ----- a new name by the city called "specimens".

"Hey Dad --- Let's go plant a "specimen Tree!"

The tree in the next picture has been saved as one of the City's valuable "specimen" trees.   Look at what was destroyed in the picture foreground.     You will see huge stumps of cypress tree knees, pine, and oak that were far superior than the "specimen" tree they saved.     It looks like a scrawny tree waiting to be cut into firewood.

So much for the integrity, and credibility of the City's arbor laws.      They're a farce along with their enforcement that allows developers  defoliates our natural lands!       Then your City government smiles in the name of "Tax Revenues", that City Manager McLemore needs to supplement the "TownCenter's" extravagant raid of our taxes !       Why can't McLemore obtain the money  from the funds in the City's huge ---

"MONEY tree BANK" ?

the shade factor of the above tree, in that townhouse living environment should have the same effect as that of the best tanning parlor.

to be built are townhouses to support the over 14 million dollars of tax money for the city's portion for the construction of the "TownCenter".

it is doubtful that tax money can be recovered in this century.

The City Manager said this was necessary to support the merchants located in the "townCenter".

Attn All you mathematicians: --  If it cost  "private property" owners, who pays taxes in the city, $100.00 to remove a tree, and a $25.00 permit (both paid to the city) -------   <!--#include virtual="footer.txt" -->

"how much does it cost a developer to remove 953 trees?"

more  to  come  on  this  city's  path  to  the  destruction  of  the  city's  remaining  environmental  splendor !
