look   what   winter   springs'   officials   have   done  to  the  once  lush  land  &  plush  green  Forest !

( slide presentation of  " THE  RAPE  of  THE  LAND " is below )

Winter Springs officials will say that they must allow developers to use their own land, but they forget there are ordinances against the complete destruction of trees, and the density of home sites.     The City Manager, and his "lapdog " Commissioners pay for an arborist to tell a PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNER  they can't take down a tree, but allow the total massacre of the acreage of forests in the City by their developer friends.

The City officials actually had a developer that totally ruined a lush landscape for zero-lot-line high density condo housing that had almost $2,000,000.00 in fines for destroying the trees, but the City finally settled for around $180,000 dollars.    They were either scared to death of the huge developer,  didn't have sufficient legal representation to address the issue, or there was a payoff somewhere.    One shouldn't be surprised all of those faults probably played a factor in some way.

The management of saving the trees in the City of Winter Springs is a highly laughable joke.    The stories surrounding the enactment, and hypocrisy of ordinances protecting the trees is one of the most laughable jokes coming from the City Manager's controlled dais.    They once levied a $5,000 dollar fine against a PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNER for removing a tree that was destroying his driveway.     Only the exposure of that fine farce in the media brought the dais to their knees, and lowered the levied fine.

When the dust and smoke has cleared from within the City's boundaries, citizens will no longer recognized the "dream city" they moved into for the comforts of good living.     With "high-density" housing comes lower land values, and higher "crime rates".   Has anybody heard about the big break-in of the barber shop just off SR434 in the NEW "Village Walk" plus the shots that were heard in the apartment/housing behind it in the same neighborhood?   NOPE -- it wasn't even reported in the news media.

Secrets must be kept like this for "high-density" lower income developments bring much higher crime statistics.    The City isn't going to report them ---- they would look bad, and RIGHT NOW that's the last thing the City Manager and his "lapdog" commission needs.

ALL the Commissioners know of the developments in the slide presentation.     One Commissioner even sat on the Planning & Zoning Board when most of those developments were approved.     They just need to keep this information at the lowest level, and the City Manager has clearly taken care of this aspect.    If the public has NO KNOWLEDGE of the actions of the Commission unless they're published, then NO ONE will go to the meetings to contest the issues.   He doesn't even get the agendas to the Commissioners on time if he wants to hold back information.    Even they HAVE complained.    This has been ON RECORD for years --- but they don't do anything except give the City Manager horrendous raises --- whenever he wants one!

Therefore the City Manager makes sure the information provided about ALL public meetings is hard to obtain, and if obtained doesn't contain enough intelligent information for the average public to decipher.    The less information made available to the public --- the less of public appearances at meetings to question the antics of the "lapdog" dais.

The above slide presentation will be added to as MORE of this type of development engrosses the City.    Other projects currently on the PFGG's drawing table is the " Village Walk Scam" ---- MORE eastern SR434 development --- the City's desire to still aggressively pursue their annexation programs for the tax dollars, and most assuredly the way YOUR COMMISSIONER VOTES.     Maybe the "dog" will jump out of the City Manager's "lap"?

Does anyone remember the "WYMAN FIELDS FOUNDATION" condo scam backed by the City Manager and ex-commissioner Gennell?    That's the one that cost the taxpayers almost $2,000,000 before it was brought to a foreclosure status, but the City Manager has yet to come forth with the truth about the costs of that criminal activity

Wonder why he has concealed the City's involvement --- where did the money go?    He even appointed one of the most trusted members of the City's staff to sit on the board of directors of that scam.     That staff member shortly thereafter left the City, and has been totally silent as to the actions of the Wyman Fields Foundation.

That gentleman was a very reliable, and trusted individual, as known by the writer of this article, but unfortunately we will never know what happened in this public tax dollar usage scam.    But, you can bet the City Manager, and his former cohort ex-commissioner Gennell know.    Maybe one of the days the TRUTH WILL be known.   Want to know where to place the blame?    Try questioning those on the City Manager's controlled dais !    Bet they are VERY evasive, and they'll give you a song-n'-dance rendition.
