City Officials DIDN'T tell you the TRUTH !
The Mayor's Letter mailed to Residents Was Mis-Leading & False !
Why do City officials have to keep trying to fool the public with LIES ?
Mayor's letter found to be a complete farce by those attending the 9/12/05 meeting.

The examples he uses in the letter are a total farce! His additional services improvements include a false millage figure used from the Parker Property bond! Public is handed out BLANK agendas -- NO TAX FIGURES! City Manager, Commissioner Blake, and the CM's "lapdog" commission use all different figures on the dais. The City doesn't know what they're even proposing. Why agenda blanks for figures Ronnie? Didn't your consultants give you figures to insert? You spend enough for consultants that more triple your "horrendous" salary.
The commissioners, mayor, or the city manager wouldn't even answer questions asked by the overflowing public attending the meeting. They CAN'T --- they DON'T KNOW the answers! The people of Winter Springs are paying for an inept dais consisting of an inept government and management! At $160,000+ a year -- city manager isn't worth the price of the agendas he puts out.

Too many tall tales in the Mayor's letter -- examples are below --
Wasn't long ago the Bond Debt of Winter Springs was twice that of any other City in Seminole County!
Mayor -- has the City paid the people back the 26+ million dollars spent on the towncenter yet? Where did the City get the money to spend on it ---- it didn't come from your developer buddies?
Tell the truth (publish the figures) about the tax increases. It was a 12.48% increase last year (2004) alone !
The City has ALREADY voted 5 - 0 to throw in the .1374 on a tax increase. Don't you believe the minutes of the meetings aren't true --- also? It's been said the minutes have to pass the approval of McLemore before the minutes they are approved. Guess he likes to make changes --- so the truth can't be seen ! Wouldn't be the first time minutes, and agendas have been juggled.
Mayor -- you never did reveal what happened to the $2.03 that was added to every homes utility bill every month for NINE YEARS. You clammed up like a dead clam shell on that promise made.
Mayor -- how about telling the people how much money has been realized as a profit as opposed to the millions spent in the towncenter' s private businesses. Who's going to pay for the multi-story parking garages needed for those "private businesses"? Who's going to pay for your library parking garage?
Mayor -- didn't the City just DOUBLE stormwater fees? Wasn't it because they spent ALL the money on ANNEXATION services, and forgot the rest of the City? Want to see some pictures?
Mayor -- aren't those rates the SECOND HIGHEST in Seminole County? The chart on the City's web site proves they are. Tell the City Manager Winter Park is in Orange County.
Isn't it true Winter Springs has the HIGHEST service rates in Central Florida? The City's at the limit allowed by State Law. That's a legal way to raise taxes without people realizing what went on their bills.
Is the City still giving kick-backs to developers, like on the Avery Park deal, NOT to build recreational playgrounds in their multi-story high rise condos, and apartment complexes approved by the City?
Mayor -- want to bet the public would really be concerned if they knew the amount of consultant fees paid by the City Manager, because he is ignorant of the needs of the City, and can't solve them without help?
Mayor -- NO ONE can believe your letter --- sent out using taxpayers' funds --- too many propaganda money HOLES !
Mayor --- Nice photo opt -- want to see another ?
