Winter   Springs  officials  have  the  "luck"  of  an  absent  news  media !

          During the City's clownish game they're playing with the public surrounding the upcoming "Property tax increase" to 8 mils, no one in the news media has picked up on the game.    The City Manager has completely buffaloed the media, even with the shock of going to 8 mil, to the extent that the public will completely relax at a lower rate ---- probably between 5.5 mil to as high as 6.6 mil.

          That is what it would take to continue to finance "TINY TOWN' in order to try and bail the merchants out of the enormous lack of the spending public.    Actually, outside the super market and fast foods, there is NOTHING else too much to buy in "TINY TOWN".   The City fathers/mothers have really conned the tax paying public ----- with the taxpayers money.

          There won't be enough revenue coming out of "TINY TOWN" in the form of sales taxes, or anything else, that will ever come close to replenishing the "taxpayers coffers" in this century to compensate them for what the City has absconded with of their tax dollars for private businesses.     Look at the retention pond behind city hall, and in front of the high school --- it holds the runoff water from the so called "town center".    That's just one usage people don't even consider.         

         The "speculation" of spending MILLIONS of tax dollars UNSEEN by the City Manager, and his "lapdog" commission is one of the biggest cover-ups in Central Florida.    Now, some commissioners, like ex-commissioner McLeod, may be ripping millions off personally, or some other means of commensuration, (166% increase in the pay of elected officials), or to further enhance their political goals that is completely over shadowed by how and what the City has done with tax dollars.

Think  about  it  Citizens --- They've  got  you  buffaloed !

Latest news/Rumors from the "THOA" 'Twitting" birdies ! 

          Ex-commissioner Martinez since moving back into the Tuscawilla PUD (non-assessed unit) has again embroiled himself into the THOA associations "political" schemes.    He along with current commissioners Miller & Gilmore want to oust the current THOA Board of Directors (should've been done ten years ago) to be able to use the members funds to financially aid Martinez's return to the City dais.  

          God help the free world --- Miller/Gilmore/Martinez in control of the voting power of the City.    They're trying to shake up the Tuscawilla voters with another one of their devious deceitful agendas of the current city manager.    Remember now that it was commissioner "Shirley" Miller who filed the charges with the State Elections Commissioner against someone NOT EVEN INVOLVED with his seat.   Miller did this to strengthen his buddies rise back to the City dais --- Martinez.

          It was Martinez who self anointed Gilmore to his current seat, while using Moti Khemlani's address as a false residence.    They're ALL involved as "political power connivers".    There is NO HONEST politics in the City of Winter Springs, and hasn't been since CM McLemore's arrival.

            Once again, the Oviedo Voice and the Orlando Sentinel have it wrong.    Their reporters don't do their homework!    They accepted false statements by the Winter Springs government, without checking out the facts.

            Twice this week, it has been reported by these papers that Commissioner Ed Martinez "is " and "will be moving " to Altamonte Springs, and "will " resign his seat on May 28th.

            FACT: Records reveal that Mr. Martinez sold his home in Winter Springs on April 2nd of this year.    According to Florida Statute 114.01, and the Florida Supreme ruling in Askew v. Thomas, 293 So. 2d 40, his seat should have been declared vacant on that day.    Yet, he continues to sit as Commissioner and vote on very important issues!

            FACT: His statement that he was "staying with a friend until May 28th " should not have allowed him to retain his seat.    There were some very interesting KNOWN  facts surrounding that cover-up.

PUBLISHER'S NOTE:  It has now been brought to our attention that the telephone number, as listed on the City's web site, is NOT the phone number that corresponds with the above 605 Morgan Street (Moti Khemlani's house) listed as ex-Commissioner Martinez's home.    That number is an Orlando telephone exchange number.     What a shame that City Manager McLemore and the current administration is using taxpayers' money to perpetuate LIES !        Isn't it time to rid City Hall of these deceitful tactics?    

This friend's address, coincidentally, is the home of Moti Khemlani, of the THOA. 

            Now if he is paying Moti to live in this house, then possibly the Bankruptcy Court would be interested in that payment.    The property is under the protection of the Federal Bankruptcy Laws of Chapter Seven (7).    Even the telephone exchange, as listed by the City, is highly questionable.     Is or was this a scheme by City Manager McLemore to keep his 3M voting edge on the dais?    Something smells!

             There are documents on file that will question the activity of ex-Commissioner Martinez, and the cover-up by City of Winter Springs politicians and officials.   Such documents consisting of recorded sales deeds, tax documents, addresses, and, yes, even several documents called "A Continuous Marriage Affidavit" ---- one dated April 2, 2004.    All point specifically to a probable trail of deceit orchestrated by your City of Winter Springs officials.     No one is left unscathed !    All have taken part in this scheme.

            Don Gilmore, chairman of the Tuscawilla Beautification Lighting District, and now President-elect of the Winter Springs Rotary Club has been "named" to replace Mr. Martinez on May 28th.  Once again, the THOA retains its stranglehold on the Commission.    Mr. Gilmore's statement to the Voice that he is happy to serve Tuscawilla, the City Manager, and Commission seems to leave out the rest of the people of the City of Winter Springs.    Oh yes, the City Manager and his "non-bid" contractor are also members of this social club as are other members on the dais.

           Isn't Mr. Martinez in violation of Florida Statute 114.01?    We can only surmise that everyone in City Hall, from the Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney and the Commission are complicit in this fraud being perpetrated on the people of Winter Springs.    Is the City in violation for compensating Mr. Martinez with taxpayer funds, for illegally sitting as a Commissioner?     Aren't all the votes cast by ex-Commissioner Martinez illegal, and should be considered void?

         There is much more to unfold surrounding the appointment by Commissioner McLeod of Martinez's replacement.   There is also someone in the wings waiting to run for Commissioner McLeod's seat who had previously backed out of a head-on collision with McLeod in his last election.     It is easy to see that the commissioners are lining up the replacements for existing seats even prior to the 2004 qualifying time period.     This is replacement by "cloning".

                This scam is "government by government" not as elected by the people.    The voters are usually faced with an insurmountable task in overcoming the consolidated efforts of control by those currently residing on the dais.     In the replacement of Martinez, there was a VERY qualified candidate WITH NO POLITICAL TIES or POLITICAL OBLIGATIONS who had submitted her letter requesting to be considered.     The Commissioners ignored this fine young woman's request only to choose one of their OWN.

Notice to the voters of Winter Springs

Make the 2006 election year YOURS -- there are THREE dais seats opening for legitimate, qualified, and "The People's Choice"!   Hope that you have a City left by 2006 !

ALL incumbents and "the McLemore clones" MUST  GO !
