Lapdog Gets Snippy and Yappy !

Is Commissioner McGinnis’s barking a violation of the City’s proposed animal nuisance ordinance?

It has come to our attention that Commissioner McGinnis takes exception of being called a lapdog by the Orlando Sentinel Editorial Board.    She calls the Sentinel’s recent editorial "unprofessional and low level".     We call it “dead on honey”.     Now, McGinnis is acting like a snippy and yappy "lapdog " with attitude to boot.     Just take one look at page 24 of the July 26, 2004 City Commission minutes to get a taste of McGinnis’s barking orders.

Regarding the recent Orlando Sentinel editorial, Commissioner McGinnis noted, “I thought the editorial was – very low level – it wasn’t professional and I think the City has to respond to that.   I have said it before, and I really think it is imperative that Ron [McLemore] needs to meet with the Editorial Board of the Orlando Sentinel.”   Commissioner McGinnis added, “It is imperative! A.S.A.P.!   It is just too bad he [Manager McLemore] is away while all of this is happening.    But, Kip Lockcuff], you could even set that up so that next week, he/you could go.”

Bow Wow "Lapdog"!     While McGinnis’s comments have bite, it is VERY obvious she can’t handle the truth.     Hey, if McGinnis can’t stand the heat, then it’s time to get out of the kennel and off the dais!     We think her barking warrants a call to Seminole County’s Animal Control --------  not the Sentinel Editorial Board.
