Miller's Claim to Budget Fame ?
You Have to Wonder Where the " Yellar " WENT ?
From a commissioner who said "I can account for EVERY PENNY spent in the budget" the below letter is proof alone this guy has NO IDEA of what's going on up on the City of Winter Springs dais. Number #1 -- the $200,000 thousand dollars he states is a UCF GRANT actually is a grant to the OCCUPIERS/DEVELOPERS of the UCF Incubator Project. Then he comes forth with a statement that is absolutely UNKNOWN to the taxpaying public! But the confusion in the text is a HALF-TRUTH figment of his imagination. He's another Eddie Martinez!
It is true that a year ago mayor (Bush) broke a 2 - 2 tie vote with his "yea" vote, but nowhere is there the indication that George Colombo's company (friend/business partner of the mayor) is one of the recipients, as an OCCUPIER, of the UCF Incubator Project.
Also unknown to the taxpaying public the presence of Mr. Thomas Corkery, a developer of the Visitawilla project, is a business partner of ex-commissioner David McLeod, who also was an initial voting member of the commission during the construction of the Visitawilla office complex. He voted on all engineering, construction layout, zoning, and everything else needed to complete this (his) project. As stated in the below Miller letter is the fact that Mr. Corkery is also a resident of the PUD which contains the "UCF Incubator Project". HUMMM !
At this time city manager McLemore has already planned to EXCLUDE the city's fire department in the upcoming budget for ----
the LACK OF FUNDING available!

The mayor's $200,000 thousand dollars was no problem however!

Miller says he's troubled --- but yet he was one of the " VOTERS " for the UCF Incubator Project! Just how ignorant can you be if you don't know what you're spending $200,000 thousand dollars of taxpayers' money if it takes you a year to WAKE UP?
