You can't eat flowers

Ben Sherwood, author of The Survivor's Club is back and this time he has another survivor test to take - the economic survivor test. Is it just coincidence that sales of vegetable seeds are double while flower seeds are down? No, because people are starting to make choices and you know the old saying 'you can't eat flowers.' Glenn and Ben discuss how to survive the worsening economic storm. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

We Surround Them - Hope

Ben also talked about the importance of living with certain values and principles because as he has found in his research, those without hope can suffer devastating consequences when crisis hits. Take the incredibly sad story of the NFL players and friends whose boat capsized. Only one survived - and what happened to the other three is unbelievable. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

 Dr. Keith Ablow

Noted psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow talks today about dealing with adversity and how to help kids get through the difficult times. Sometimes we forget that kids notice more than we give them credit - they notice when there are more dads at the bus stop. What do you say when they start asking about it? ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

March to Socialism - Never let a crisis go to waste

So if you believe the polls, it's a good time to be a Democrat because Obama will get the credit no matter what. But the question is, if the economy (and Glenn doesn't buy this) is going to recover no matter what, why then the need for all of these massive bills? ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Earth's climate 'confounds' scientists
On today’s 'Spotlight on Science,' Glenn discovers something amazing - apparently scientists don't really know what's going on with climate change. Now they think Global Warming has 'hit a speed bump' and 'may go into hiding for decades.' Don't worry though, scientists are on the case and they have it all figured out.
