  TRYING TO BLOW THE PEOPLE DOWN !

Read ------    From the minutes of the below 9-26-05 Commission meeting.

Plus --- A City Prayer Below.

606. Commission Seat Four – Sally McGinnis.

Commissioner McGinnis stated that at a recent Meeting --------

          “We made a commitment to offer a house for one (1) year to a displaced family from the Hurricane [Katrina].   I hope we are moving on that expeditiously.”

(The City hasn't even helped their own citizens --- over a year and a half since hurricane Charley.)

Next, Commissioner McGinnis asked about the status of Soldiers Creek; to which Manager McLemore explained ------

      “That is going to be coming to you relatively soon.”

(What difference does Soldiers Creek have --- if it flooded any homes --- the City wouldn't help the people with flood waters caused by City's lack of proper reactions.)

Commissioner McGinnis mentioned that there is ------

?  “A Jazz Concert Saturday, at Lake Mary City Hall,

put on by the Grove.    It is going to be in the afternoon.”

(Gees -- that's nice.   Bet the City didn't contribute a dime!)

The Seminole Chronicle was mentioned next by Commissioner McGinnis who stated -----

          “It is a little more than a year old - they have done an exemplary job by covering Winter Springs

and - could we give a Certificate of Recognition for

outstanding service to our community?”

( WOW --- they gave you pre-election "photo opts".    Kidding ya' Chronicle -- she'll need them.)

Mayor Bush commented -------

    "I would be glad to do so if the Commission agrees.”

(Yep --- he's running again also.)

Commissioner Gilmore stated,

   “Consensus – yes.”

No objections were noted. 

( Why should there be a comment -- you ALL have to run for --- or from something -- sometime?)

                       ?  Commissioner Miller mentioned Alex Babcock also.    

 (This is a puzzling one --- Miller shouldn't even run for "ditch-digger!)

Mayor Bush added ------

       “We will do something appropriate.”

      (Told you he was running!)

THE  REASONS  FOR  ALL  NIGHT  COMMISSION  MEETINGS !

Now for a bumbling bunch of typical dialog from commissioners utterances out of the mouth of a typical City commissioner,  which if she even knew what she was talking about may have made sense.

(The commissioner must have bought a newspaper and was reading it on the dais.)

Can ANYONE issue a statement of connection between her below statement that

has ANYTHING to do with her as a commissioner of Winter Springs ?

        "Commissioner McGinnis spoke of issues being discussed by the Florida League of Cities and the Legislature working on issues related to the sale of tazers; sale of single units of alcohol; and DUI monies going to jurisdictions, instead of going to the Clerk of the Courts."

Then the CROWNING blow against the taxpayers of Winter Springs --

Lastly, Commissioner McGinnis remarked -------

                                        “I know we have a Newsletter coming out and there will be a letter in there – that will go through the Tax process, the Tax increase?”

(That newsletter -- disguised as the "Insider" --- costs over $15,000 dollars -- when mailed out.)

Manager McLemore stated,

          “Yes.”  ( Yeah what -- the tax increase, or the RIGGED  PROCESS  ? )

The Crowning  Big  Wind  Blows ----

One year ---- three months later a misleading line is FED to the news media -

What could the Mayor saying with bowed head --

A City Prayer ?

Guide us, on the dais, in our evil ways, and render helpless the people of the City of Winter Springs ?   Thou money is OURS -- not the taxpayers -- of which we must spend as we see fit, and it isn't for flood water damage the City caused by moving a generator to City Hall --- where it wasn't needed !    Grant us our continued use of taxing funds for Tiny Town, and high-rise high-density building for developer buddies .

Forgive us our debts --- for we have ways to plunder more.    Grant us our continued use of NO-BID contracts so we may avoid public scrutiny.   Oh yes, keep the coffers full that we may grant ALL the unnecessary salary increases we now enjoy!

We ask this in the name of increased taxes, and bond debts as high as we may need !

Now the commission wants to meet monthly at the Senior Center for lunch.    Activities -- other than running for election next year -- should be to soak their heads in the NEW Therapy pool they have planned on the 11/14/05 agenda.   Don't think that would help that group on the dais.    Why didn't they go soak themselves in the sewerage the CITY PUMPED into those homes?

Hey -- Commissioner Miller -- you said no one had tried to contact you.    Want to see the email copy sent to ALL commissioners, mayor, city manager, and utility department.  Can you READ ?
