THE  CONTINUING  TOWNCENTER  WOES !

As businesses move in --- businesses move out.     Tenants with current leases are awaiting their expiration.    This location was OVER SOLD as to the available amenities presented --- as opposed to the overwhelming headaches found lurching.

What’s still missing from this latest town center picture now posted on the homepage of the City of Winter Springs’s website?

 People and Business Tenants!

Along with the missing public, take notice of the For Lease sign hanging in the window of the building at the corner.  This space has been vacant since the day this building was built.   Do you think the lack of people or business tenants has anything to do with the unintelligent design of the town center and the micromanaging idiotic behavior of the mayor and city commission?

Parking and the flow of traffic has become a main source of concern.    The city's answer --- build two LARGE parking garages.    This in it's self is another artful con job.    The city will need parking for the hordes of massive construction of condos surrounding the Towncenter aka "Tiny Town" even across the street by McDonalds.    Behind the high school will be MORE condos/apartments.     City manager has to make money in his real estate ventures located in his home at [ 1620 Eagle Nest Circle ] --- Tuscawilla.

Unless you're a "one car" family you will have to find additional parking for your visitors, or extra cars in your household.    The city doesn't care about cars --- all they want is people to spend money in the limited resources available in the Towncenter.    Commissioner "Shirley" Miller even wanted to do away with the drive-thru window at the Wendy's hamburger fast food place.    Now --- that is DUMB!    That's your commission!

Can you imagine grocery shopping in Publix, and having to push your cart to the fourth floor of a parking garage, because there was no parking in the Towncenter available.    It has become so bad that if the car can be identified a high school student parking there while attending classes the car will be issued a ticket.     So now your police department has become meter-maids for a "private parking lot" as delegated by YOUR commission.

Here's another many times visited link showing more "Tiny Town" despair [ Empty Shopping Cart ]

Named by the Orlando Sentinel ---- "A Glorified Strip Mall".
