How not to
build a city for people, but merely to
gain sales revenues!
The slides below will show just what the City
Commission, Mayor ---- under City Manager McLemore's direction --- are seeking
to do to bring the City a massive population explosion with hopes to shore-up the
sales revenues for their cherished "strip-mall" called by citizens of
Winter Springs ---
"TINY
TOWN".
The planned projects include the City of Winter Springs aggressive
protrusion into the properties to the east of the Beltway by scurrilous
annexation attempts with the assistance of large landowners has now over
2.617NEWLY PLANNED
high density multiple family housing
units. That does not include the immense properties, and land
they are trying to annex in the "Black Hammock" area as part
of the continuous annexation scam.
If they accomplish their projected annexations with
promises of outlandish improvements -- they can't even take care of what's
in the City now --- it should almost double the above figure of
condos/apartments/townhouses they desire to build to furnish their "Tiny
Town" with sales revenues.
One can not blame the people for seeking the most affordable housing with the
best possible features for their young growing families, but what the City
of Winter Springs has allowed to happen throughout the City is almost criminal.
With projects like the one pictured in the above slides, and other areas such as
"Barclay" on the eastern most part of town the City wants only to
PACK IN PEOPLE to spend money in
their laughable little venture called "Tiny Town".
The City Manager, Mayor, Commission, and planning department (as if they had a
choice) has absolutely devastated the land to build their concrete jungles.
One of the eastern projects even has a children's playground located right up to
the traffic of SR434. The city's planers could care less.
They want every buildable square foot of land to house at least a part of one
family. Safety, fire, and police protection is the last of
their worries. They would build high-rise multi-storied apartments
if they thought they could get away with it by stretching existing laws.
You have a "greedy city government/management" in Winter Springs.
They are even running out of water [ Shortage
].
But it's business as usual in the City of Winter Springs.
Commissioners use their positions for personal financial, and political
enhancements. Just go to City Hall and demand the contribution
sheets of candidates running for re-election, or to regain their previous
offices. You'll see current and past commissioners
donating to continue their cause even though they lost their political offices,
and you'll see the influx of realtors, developers, property management companies
all involved.

as usual will be following the campaign trails to point out the continuance of
monetary influence to maintain the current member of your city government.
Once in office they have no qualms on whose money they take, and use for
re-election. The current races should bring out the worst yet
in the campaign trails of the City.
It is already seen where one
ex-commissioner is using family members to gain yet another, or regain her
foothold in city government with supporting another EX-COMMISSIONER !
Now with the horrendous salary increase why not go again for the taxpayers
supporting your family. They have NOTHING else to do -- they
claim retirement, and their serving in office as a PUBLIC service --- HUH !
