         OF  COURSE --- IT'S  ELECTION  TIME !

            No wonder Winter Springs Mayor Bush and cohorts are NOW making promises they should have considered years ago before Winter Springs became known as "Macadam McLemore -- the City of Tree Destruction".

            Monday evening on September the 25th, 2006 the mayor came up with a "BRILLIANT" idea that it was time to save the greenery of the City of Winter Springs.    This is after ten (10) years of massive destruction under the management of city manager McLemore as approved by his "rat-pack" commission.   It took the mayor seven (7) years, that's all he was the mayor for regardless of his campaign baloney, to realize that the city had completely given it's sole to developers.

            Right now during this mayor's reign and that of McLemore's "pack-following" commission the city has managed to destroy more green space than could be bought with your tax dollars under the mayor's and commission's double talking mouths.    The slides are of "CONDO DEVELOPMENTS" with the greenery torn down to the bare ground while your current mayor and commission put forth their empty speeches of new found air-headed wisdom.   

            Who are they kidding?     Just look around you at the neighborhoods in Winter Springs that have been destroyed by the mayor's new found friends --- developers,  builders, and real estate sales companies -- one of which McLemore is INVOLVED IN AS A REGISTERED AGENT !    Was he the registered agent on mayor Bush's purchase of CITY PROPERTY at a BARGAIN PRICE with IMPROVEMENTS included?

            How about the Winter Springs Golf Course that sold shortly after your luncheon meeting with "a prospect" in the clubhouse dining room?    Why didn't the city buy it ?   It would have been the best bargain per acre the city has ever conned the taxpayers to buy with bond money.  

            Look at the Parker property purchase (a bond) that has cost taxpayers, by now, well over $1,800,000 million dollars for acreage no where near the size of the golf course.    The city bought that property to increase their revenue from ball clubs and leagues outside the city at the expense of the city taxpayers.   The golf course was used by a lot of Winter Springs golfers --- including the mayor.

The figures below makes one wonder if there is anyone in the Winter Springs government/management that has any idea of what they are doing -- especially after the below comparison.

      The Parker Property purchase -- 26 acres ----- $2.9 million ($500,000 improvements) -- $111,538 per acre.

      The Wincey Property purchase --  9 acres ----- $900,000   --- $100,000 per acre  (Not Voter Approved).

      * Winter Springs Golf Course  ---- 177 acres ----- $1.2 million (Final) --- $6,777.66 per acre.

* (The golf course is what the city DID NOT purchase --- but let it get into the hands of developers.   THE CITY GOOFED !)     

(It doesn't take a genius to figure out the best buy.   This Bush/McGinnis lead BLUNDER will led to MORE high-rise condo developments just as the ex-commissioner McLeod's wheeling and dealing while in office!

The WHOLE commission -- plus city manager McLemore was in on that scam !)

            Guess it wasn't good enough for them -- Bush and commissioner Gilmore would rather belong to the Tuscawilla Country Club where they could direct "special" revenues to that should have gone to the City of Winter Springs.   They hold all the city "special event" meetings and functions there, and don't even use the huge new improvements made to the Civic Center costing taxpayers millions.   Could it be they need BOOZE ?    Or -- just more revenue for THEIR COUNTRY CLUB in Tuscawilla ?

Hey mayor -- where are you going to find "green space" to save now that you, McLemore, and your commission have destroyed in the city??   Point out where it can be found.

You and your dais cohorts said you are going to save it !!
