THE POLITICIAN'S ADVANTAGE !
THE SWEET DEAL !
The sales contact below is on one of the remaining four units that the City of Winter Springs had to purchase on the courthouse steps at auction. That was one of the four units left on a City of Winter Springs GUARANTEED bank loan for the now defunct Wyman Fields Foundation.
Yes you read it right --- the City GUARANTEED the loan to save (???) some of the $996,000 dollars of your tax money that it paid Wyman Fields on start-up ------------ PLUS what took place later !
(It is important to know that by the final signing of this contract the City will have spent taxpayers' money to the estimated extent of OVER $1.3 MILLION DOLLARS. That was the result of the initial up-front money paid by the CITY on the failed Wyman Fields project of close to $1 Million dollars, $300,000 plus costs of the purchase of the remaining unsold properties at the courthouse auction, and over $44,000 (costs of which the city refuses to break down) on the completion of renovations on the remaining units).
There would seem to be a matter of poor management judgment on the part of the Mayor, Commissioners, and especially the City Manager in the Wyman Fields episode.
See the following -- [ The Tax Loss ] ---- Wyman Fields --- [ More - The Scam ]

Notice the below insert in the Bush contract "ALL renovations are to be complete". One has to wonder now what is the answer to the break-down of the City's renovation efforts on the "Sheriff's Sale" of units remaining? HOW MUCH was spent on the Bush purchase --- is the reason the city WON'T reply to costs spent of the $44,000 dollars.

The below McLemore EDITED commission agenda minutes as to the conclusion of this sale of taxpayers' is conveniently spelled out as "Discussion ensued on related costs". It's OBVIOUS the mayor and city manager didn't want this brought out in the open. What was spent on the Bush unit City manager --- you claim to be indispensable source of knowledge --- as along as you have your consultants ?
It would be BAD to reveal those expenses during the mayor's re-election --- wouldn't it McLemore?
