The Reason For The Tax Increases ?
What happened to the endless tasks needed to be performed for the citizens of Winter Springs ?
Was the whole charade a dais lie ------- ALL the way ?
Remember the pouring forth of the need for MORE service personnel. Just how much of the "hot-air-rhetoric" coming out of the mouths of the commissioners, and city manager was nothing more than a smoke screen? Does anyone remember any dais dialog about this in the budget hearings? It was pretty well hidden ---- wasn't it ? But - A HIDDEN AGENDA is a typical McLemore ploy.
There is absolutely nothing wrong in the increase of salaries to individuals when they deserve such, but the overall BLANKET prospect of across-the-board as indicated by the city manger's paper work, and figures below is as much a scam as is the salary of the city manager alone. How many people are aware of the fact the salary of the city manager of a town of 32,000 is HIGHER than that of the Seminole County Manager, whose job is one hundred fold that of Ronnie McLemore?
More outstanding, however, is the MISSING figures of the city manager of Winter Springs in this little scheme of his. He doesn't want his $156,000 + "golden-parachute" package revealed. Come on Ronnie --- give the citizens the REAL facts. What are you afraid of --- OR --- are you getting ready to spring your yearly "invasion" on the taxpayers of the City with your numerous pay raises?
Have the Commissioners, Mayor, and City Manager been caught lying ?
The Answer is up to you --- THE PEOPLE !

Email Question/Answer Response --
Why was it, and how was it hidden? It was put under the consent agenda which requires NO discussion, nor are ever the agenda item shown on the projection screen for the public to view.
Isn't the fire and police pay low? The fire and police pay has always been a sore spot for McLemore. He fights their pay raises "tooth-n-nail" for some reason. Yes, the Chiefs of those departments ARE more important than the city manager. They, at times, have life and death in their hands. The city manager has mainly your tax money since he requires consultants for decisions. He would fight their pay scales in a court of law --- more money for his attorneys.
Why is the City Manager's pay so high? Somebody should ask their commissioners. They give him what he wants for some strange reason. They should REALLY look at his consultant costs. It's doubtful if those fees could ever be complied --- too well hidden.
Why aren't there more departments listed? Why is the parks and recreational on the above list four times against only one for other departments? That's McLemore's favorite "cash-cow". It is revenue bearing with all the OUTSIDE usage of this city taxpayer supported facility.
